HydroDetails

Our hydro is estimated to produce 74 kW of electricity on average, and we use half of that. The unused amount will go to the grid, free.

It will help to stabilize the grid, too. When there's a lot of rain and clouds are hiding the sun, the flume is still running. When there is a drought, the flume slows down and photovoltaic produces lots of electricity.

Foremost on my mind is that stabilizing our electricity costs will ultimately help our workers, as well as farmers in our area.
